SPAN 2026: Our Tenth Year – Make Your Voice Heard

To CCTE Members, Delegates, and Friends,

This year marks a milestone: our tenth year convening in Sacramento for CCTE’s Spring Policy Action Network (SPAN). For a decade, SPAN has amplified the voice of educator preparation in the Capitol—and in 2026, that voice is stronger than ever.

Join us for SPAN 2026 on-site or virtually in Sacramento on March 23–24, with an additional virtual-only day on March 28. Whether you attend in person or online, your presence matters. There is still time to register and be part of our 10th anniversary gathering.

More than ever, our collective advocacy is making a difference. This year, legislators are responding in record numbers. As one legislative representative shared:

“We appreciate the invitation to CCTE’s Spring Policy Action Network Conference and your continued engagement with our office over the years. We value the perspective CCTE brings to these important conversations.”

This is a pivotal moment. The legislature’s decisions directly shape the future of educator preparation—and they need to hear from us. SPAN gives us the opportunity to thank lawmakers for their leadership, reinforce what’s working, and advocate for policies that sustain and strengthen our programs.

The attached PDF includes a conference preview, tentative program, registration form (for both March 23–24 and March 28), and nearby hotel information. Online registration is available here: https://www.ccte.org/ccte-span-2025-on-line-registration

Please share this invitation with your colleagues and encourage them to join us.

We look forward to seeing you in Sacramento—and to raising our collective voice at SPAN 2026.
