Save the Date: CCTE Fall 2026 Conference

We’re thrilled to invite you to a groundbreaking conversation. Multilingualism for All, Really for All: Cultivating Inclusive Pedagogies in a Time of Contending Ideologies will be the theme for the Fall 2026 Conference of the California Council on Teacher Education.

This isn’t just about bilingual classrooms—it’s about recognizing that every teacher is a teacher of language. Language is alive, constantly shifting and transforming across all our interactions. It’s a medium we all share, connecting us regardless of our official classroom designations.

California’s linguistic diversity is one of our greatest strengths, yet we’re navigating an era of shifting policies and competing perspectives. This conference creates essential space for teacher educators, researchers, and practitioners to engage critically and proactively with the complexities of multilingualism.

Whether you teach in designated bilingual settings or not, this conference speaks to you. We’ll explore how all educators can cultivate inclusive pedagogies that honor the dynamic, evolving nature of language in our classrooms.

Join us in Fall 2026 as we move beyond traditional boundaries, draw from our collective strength, and reimagine what multilingualism means for every classroom, every educator, every student.

Because when we say “for all,” we truly mean all.

More details coming soon. The Conference dates will be October 15-16, 2026. The location will be announced soon. Mark your calendars and be part of this vital conversation.
