Attention All CCTE Delegates and Members:
The Association of Teacher Educators, the national organization of individual teacher educators for which CCTE serves as the California state chapter, is holding its 2007 annual meeting in our state. The 2007 ATE conference will be in San Diego from February 17-21. The theme of the conference is Reinventing the Educational Landscape: Renewing Hope, Heart, and Vision for Teachers, Learners, and Communities.
We hope that all of you will attend the 2007 ATE meetings, and also that you will submit proposals for the program. We know that those of you who attended the spring 2006 CCTE Conference will enjoy hearing ATE President Jane McCarthy speak again, and there will be many other dynamic speakers and program activities.
Instructions for submission of conference proposals can be found at: http://www.ate1.org. The submission deadline is June 2, 2006. All proposals need to be emailed directly to the ATE Executive Director, David Ritchey, at dritchey@ate1.org.
As the host state, let's join together in San Diego to assure that California is well-represented at the 2007 ATE conference!
Ann L. Wood, CCTE Vice President for ATE
